Pearl is a 6 year old girl. We met her mother where we stayed when we were in Kabale. Her mother does cleaning work for a living. She is able to provide housing for her daughter but is struggling to send her to school. Her husband left her when Pearl was born and he found out that she was not a boy. This working mom could really use some help to keep her child in school.
