GOD IS AMAZING! He has done great things.  We are seeing more and more children in school, being discipled, and being saved than ever before. We are seeing Moms and Dads saved and discipled and restored! We have seen the God of Wonder put His power on display in and around us. We believe everything we are doing in Africa is completely dependent upon the supernatural power and provision of God. We are living in a miracle. None of this is possible without Him; and without you. We thank God for you!

We want to share with you a typical month for our staff: May

  • Kids were out of school so they had a holiday program for them; discipling them about temptation.
  • Parent’s discipling:
    • *General Meeting with both children and parents; discipling them about “starting with a why!”
    • *Married Couples Meeting; teaching about communication and expectations.
    • *Singles Meeting; teaching about communication with children, the other parent, and about forgiveness-themselves and others.
  • Junction security – one of our boys robbing the Junction. He was caught and put in jail. They have to make many decisions regularly with the discipline of these situations. Students trying to change their grade cards and how to discipline them.
  • Enforcing the academic policy with each 164 children every quarter of the year and making decisions about their future.
  • Sunday worship services; feeding the children physically after.
  • Ladies and Men’s fellowships every week.
  • All the emergencies that come up with 164 children and their families.
  • Dealing with legal aspects of the trials going on and our licensing.
  • Parents that continually come in and need help and want their child sponsored – which we have to turn down until we can find a sponsor for them.
  • Taking care of the girls who are raped; wives who are beaten, and runaway kids.
  • Their own spiritual walk – abiding in Christ, safety, their families living away.

We ask you to please pray for them regularly. If you would like to write an encouraging word to them and commit to pray for them either mail it to us at 28249 Co. Rd. 70, Orlando, OK 73073 or email it to us at dsglstone@hotmail.com and we will print it off and take them with us to give to the staff when we go in July. Here is a list of our staff:

We have a team heading to Kabale in July. If you would like to help with supplies they will be taking. You can do so by following the link below to Amazon. Some of these are for activities we have planned and others are items to replenish their supply at the Junction.
