Two Roads Foundation was born out of a trip to Uganda Africa in June of 2015 by Greg and Donna Stone.  That’s how the estimated 2 million orphans and street children of Uganda took on real names and faces and personalities.  Two Roads was created with the vision of sponsoring these children so they can receive food and an education, but ultimately so that they will become disciples of Jesus.  As disciples they will be empowered to change their city of Kabale, Uganda.

In 2015, Two Roads Foundation began its work with a local community-based organization, but in February of 2019 began the process to become registered as an NGO in Uganda.  Two Roads hired local staff to help with the move forward to accomplish the vision God has given Two Roads: to mobilize the church and change the lives of children living in poverty. Currently Two Roads is sponsoring over 160 children.  Each child receives a school uniform, paid school fees, and 2 meals on the weekend when they are not in school.  They also receive food sent to their homes and meals at the Two Roads building called the Junction during vacations. The cost of sponsoring a child is $50/month.  Two Roads Foundation has been incorporated in the state of Oklahoma and is recognized as a 501c3 Tax-exempt organization by the IRS.

We have children of all ages from 3 to 23!  We are actively seeking sponsors for more children.  As a small organization, we want sponsors to be as involved as they can be in their sponsored child’s life.  We will provide pictures and details about your child’s family or life situation.  We make trips regularly to visit the children and continually evaluate their needs and progress.  Our long term goals include building a secondary school where we can better meet the educational needs of these children and have daily times to connect with them at a spiritual level. 

We have weekly church meetings and Bible study at the Junction.  The local staff actively reaches out to currently sponsored families and prospective families.  Two Roads holds weekly gatherings for interested adults including the Ladies’ Fellowship and Men’s Fellowship which involve prayer, worship and Bible study.  The staff visit the children at each school once or twice a month depending on the school’s visitation schedule.  Parents of sponsored children are required to attend parent training twice a month led by the staff.
