Ratisha is fifteen years old and currently in her first year of high school. She hopes to be the first female pilot from her area. She enjoys playing netball.
Ratisha together with her mother and sister live with her aunt because after the parents separation they were left with no place to live. The father abandoned them and remarried. The mother has since tried to cater for all her children’s needs but with her heart complication she is left unable to take up alot of work that would earn her some income.
During the school breaks, Ratisha sells fruits in a basket around town as a way of supporting the mother but also in hopes of raising some tuition.
