We want to share 2 things:
- The college program that has really exploded!
- The mission team that went to Uganda in July
College Program: Looking back since Two Roads was registered as an NGO in Uganda in 2019, we have seen 24 students receive advanced education beyond High school. Now this August we have 17 students enrolled in universities! Eight of these are attending for the first time! This is exciting, but at the same time will require more financial help. This first term was paid for by a few people who felt God led them to pay the expenses for the 8 new students for the first term. This gives us time to raise support for their continuing college years. Our prayer is to have an ongoing college fund that will supply these needs. We have 11 high school seniors (senior 6) this year who can apply for a college scholarship next year! That could mean we would have 28 college students next year!! Some of our sponsors are able to increase their monthly sponsorship to cover their child’s (around $125/month) but others cannot. For this reason, we want to build a college fund that can help bridge the financial gap. College Fund | Only 2 Roads We rejoice over this need because it shows how God has faithfully grown this ministry resulting in so many children who have grown up in the program – physically, mentally and spiritually!

July Mission Team: It is impossible to share everything God did during this July trip! Check out this video to see more!! Unite My Heart | Stone Team Summer Trip 2026
Our team this summer was even more special than usual – we had 7 Stones on the team! Our Son, Ben made his first trip along with his wife Jennifer (a 4-timer), their son Elijah (a 3-timer), their daughter Samantha (a 2-timer) and their youngest Emily for her first time. This team was loaded with supplies, games, skits, music and ideas! They did a great job of adapting on the go.
Our theme verse was Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name (i.e. have an undivided heart).
The team did skits which really brought this scripture to life, demonstrating the truth of this scripture. We conducted various learning activities & crafts that everyone really enjoyed and learned from.
This team visited KIgezi High School where we have almost 100 Two Roads Sponsored students! We had more activities that reinforced the theme of Walking in Truth. We talked about how we need to learn and recognize God’s truth.
We visited Child Africa where have recently moved most of the rest of our primary students. We had the chance to visit each classroom and to give hugs to our children there. After the tour we met with our students for some activities.

The team made numerous visits to businesses that Two Roads has helped to start. We learned of the struggles and successes. This is Jovan. He buys and sells Charcoal used for cooking.
Special trip to Lake Binyonyi
The team went to the lake with some of our college students. We had a great interaction between those who have been attending college and advice for the new students getting ready to go. Great fellowship time! Then some of the team did a zip line from a island to the shore!
Adult Fellowship: Two Roads ministry started as a child sponsorship program with an emphasis of discipleship. This has grown to include adult discipleship and this really exciting! Every trip involves spending time with the ladies on Tuesday for fellowship. Jennifer shared the Word with over 100 women! Their worship always includes dancing. In the afternoon we attended a cell group meeting which happens in a village in someone’s home. We currently have 4 cell groups, so our staff travels to a different cell group each week. During our visit we got to meet in a packed house and we studied about Rahab and how she went from a prostitute to in the earthly linage of Christ by God’s amazing grace! In the bedroom of the house the lady who owns the house was in bed with stage 4 cancer, while 20-30 people packed into her living room to study God’s word. Amazing. .
Baptisms: We got to baptize two people. One was Abton, a college student and the other was Jim who is on staff and had never been baptized by immersion.
Prayer Requests
- Jim’s is healing from his motorcycle accident, but please continue to pray for his complete healing.
- God’s continued working in the land case with the next court date yet to be rescheduled (the June 16th court happened, but Junior refused to appear by video)
- Open hearts and continued moving of the Spirit in the lives of our sponsored children and our parents
- That God will be glorified in all Two Roads does
- For financial provision for the ministry
- That God would bring the new staff we need
- Ashiim’s dad (a Muslim) died without knowing Christ, pray for this family
- Tyra’s pregnancy as her due date draws near (September)
- Pastor Caleb; that God will make clear his calling to both Caleb and us.

We are thankful for our staff who made our visit so good! We thank all of you who continue to support what God is doing. We can’t begin to share in this newsletter all that God is doing!
