Praise report: We give thanks to the Lord for a fruitful month: successful parent and student meetings, smooth student reporting to school, and strong UNEB (National Exam) results for Primary Seven and Senior Four students. God is transforming lives through Two Roads Foundation discipleship and educational support.

Let me share a few new things in case you don’t have time to read the whole newsletter! (But Amos has shared lots of good information so please read when you can).

  1. Our Summer mission trip is being planned for July 1-15. We have 8 confirmed to go and several more pending.
  2. Support: We have several new ways for people to help support the ministry.
    • We have created a Staff Support Currently all gifts given for sponsorship go specifically to meet all the sponsored child’s needs. All other expenses are covered by people who give generously to the general fund or unspecified giving. We have a shortfall every month. If you are willing and able to give any amount to specifically cover the staff salaries every month that would be a huge blessing! Support Our Staff | Only 2 Roads
    • Computers for university students. We have a need to supply our university students with laptop computers. We have supplied 5 computers so far. If you can help with this you can go to Special Projects | Only 2 Roads
    • A motorcycle: This project is to fund purchasing a motorcycle to be used for transportation by our junction staff. In particular, as we help our families start new businesses this will enable our staff to do regular checks on all the business start-ups. The cost of this project is $2900. Special Projects | Only 2 Roads
  3. Prayer
    • Open hearts and continued moving of the Spirit in the lives of our sponsored children and our parents
    • That God will be glorified in all Two Roads does
    • That the land case will be settled this month
    • For financial provision for the ministry
    • That God would bring the new staff we need
  1. General parents and students meeting

Purpose: Pre-term meeting to align parents, students and Two Roads Foundation in partnership for spiritual formation and academic excellence.

Key messages:

    • Parents: nurture and disciple children in the ways of the Lord, remain present and supportive.
    • Students: deepen relationship with Christ through TRF devotional lessons and pursue excellence in school.
    • TRF (Two Roads Foundation): committed to working with parents to disciple students and provide timely support; ultimate goal is to glorify God through transformed lives.

Emphasis: continual call to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour — we believe true transformation begins with salvation.

  1. Student reporting and support

  • Reporting: All students (except last year’s candidates) returned to school on 08/02/2026.
  • Logistics: By the Friday after the parents’ meeting, every returning student had received required school materials from TRF — one of our smoothest distributions, thanks to Rosette and team.
  • Note: By month’s end all students will have reported, enabling us to begin bi-weekly school visits for devotional follow-up and encouragement.
  1. UNEB results and follow-up

Primary SevenOutstanding overall performance — all Primary Seven students qualified for high school except one. Child Africa Students scored higher than their Ebenezer and New Foundation, affirming our decision to move most of our primary school kids to Child Africa.  If you sponsor a child, you can see how they performed below.

Note: P7 National Exam scores (perfect =4) first grade 4-12 points, second grade 13-23 points,  third grade 24-29 points, fourth grade 30-34 points, Failure 35-36 points.

Senior Four (grading under new curriculum)

Overall strong performance; special commendation for Ainembabazi Anthony and Arinda Joseph for exceptional results. Interviews were held on February 25th with the students and three 3 areas were of great interest to us;

i). Clarity of purpose and career path.

ii). Academic strength

iii). Overall character and natural strength.  This is when we evaluated whether the students knew what they really wanted vs what they are able to do. Having spent 8 hours interacting with each student, we were convinced by these students that they were able to proceed on the next level.

  1. LEGAL

Recently, we lobbied the Judge’s office to have our case moved closer for the judge to hear our civil land case and guide us on what to do next! Thankfully, we got the date which was February 25th. Our lawyer made the case for how long we have waited for justice on account of the accused Junior who has refused to send representatives to court and how time and again he has been served with hearing notices.

The Judge asked our lawyer to file written submissions and make a case for Judgment in absentia of the accused. The Lawyer will submit that on 3/05/26

Next steps and prayer requests

  • Begin bi-weekly school visits to continue devotional lessons, monitor academic progress, and encourage students.
  • Vocational training support for Joel (carpentry) — pray for provision and suitable training opportunities.
  • Continued discipleship of students and partnership with parents — pray for open hearts and strengthening of faith.

We rejoice in God’s faithfulness this month. Please join us in giving thanks and praying for continued provision, wisdom, and spiritual fruit in the lives of our students and families.
