Exciting news! Caleb has said he believes God is calling him to pastor in Kabale. We are very thankful for Clint and Anna who live in Kampala and are providing discipleship to Caleb. Clint is working to develop a plan to send not just Caleb but a church planting team that would come with him and stay to support him! We are looking at a date of late next year so that Caleb can finish his training.
We have 13 children on the website that have been waiting for a sponsor (and more waiting behind them). Here is a little boy that is available for sponsorship.
Emmanuel is seven years old and the first child out of three. He is in primary two and he hopes to be a mechanic one day. Emmanuel enjoys playing soccer and he loves the color red.
Emmanuel lost his father at the end of last year due to a heart disease he had had for a while but he could not afford advanced care to help him treat it. He had sold off all his property to afford some of the necessary medication.
Emmanuel now lives with his mother plus his two little siblings and she is the one carrying the whole burden of taking care of them. His mother sells fruits around town and the income is not sufficient to meet her children’s needs.
Coming alongside this little orphaned boy will be restoring hope for his tomorrow.

- Single Parents’ Meeting
In august, we held a fruitful meeting with single parents. Mama Joab was invited to share her testimony and words of encouragement with the parents. Her sharing was centred on three important principles:
Giving her life to Christ: Mama Joab shared how committing her life to the Lord has guided and strengthened her through the challenges of raising her children.
Maintaining an honorable character: She emphasized the importance of living with integrity and dignity. Her honorable conduct has earned her a good reputation among those around her.
Demonstrating boldness in raising children: Mama Joab encouraged the parents to remain courageous and steadfast in fulfilling their responsibilities. She testified that, although some men attempted to take advantage of her vulnerable situation, she stood firm and maintained her boundaries.
Her testimony was a great encouragement to the single parents. It reminded them that, through faith in Christ, godly character, and courage, they can overcome challenges and raise their children responsibly and with confidence.
- Holiday Break Program for the Children
We welcomed the children to our home in August for their holiday break. During this period, we conducted academic reviews to assess their progress. We were grateful to observe a slight improvement compared to the previous term. This progress is encouraging, and we will continue supporting the children through regular academic guidance, encouragement, and supervision.
In addition to their academic activities, the children participated in Bible lessons focusing on social gracefulness and etiquette. The lessons were engaging and impactful, with most of the children actively participating in skits. Through these presentations, they were able to understand and demonstrate the importance of good manners, respect, kindness, self-control, and appropriate conduct toward others.

Welcoming Gad into the Boys’ Home (Junction).
We are grateful to God for bringing Gad into the boys’ home. Having lived without a stable place to call home for a long time, Gad was warmly welcomed to join the other boys.
When we shared the news with him, he became deeply emotional and wept. We assured him that God had heard and answered his prayers by providing him with a safe and caring home. His response was a moving reminder of God’s faithfulness and compassion toward His children.
We pray that Gad will continue to experience God’s love, healing, and restoration as he settles into the home. We also trust that he will grow in confidence, develop meaningful relationships with the other boys, and thrive in a secure and nurturing environment.

- Amos & Tyra are in Kampala and are expecting the birth of their daughter any day.
- God’s continued working in the land case with the next court date is this week September 10. (the Judge did not show up for our last court date September 3. Pray that Amos can be there if it’s God’s will.
- Open hearts and continued moving of the Spirit in the lives of our sponsored children and our parents
- That God will be glorified in all Two Roads does
- For financial provision for the ministry
- That God would bring the new staff we need
- The team that will go in January
- Caleb has said yes to God’s call to come to Kabale to pastor!! Clint is working with Caleb to prepare him for ministry.
