Sam is a fifteen-year-old boy, the first born of three children. He is currently in his second year of high school and is fascinated by technology and what one can create with it. He believes he wants to use technology to come up with innovations or make the ones around much better. Sam lives with both his parents; his mother is a tailor while his father potters at building and they roughly make around ten dollars on a good day.
Unfortunately, Sam was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two years ago and he almost lost his life, he is now on prescribed insulin injections that he self-administers twice a day. He currently gets the medication from the government aided hospitals but when they are out his parents usually have to look for money to avail it.
Choosing to sponsor Sam will not only guarantee him being able to afford staying in school but the comfort of knowing that even when he lives with this deadly disease, he is assured of all the medication that he needs.
