Jonan is seven years old and the fourth of six children. He stays with all his parents who are both HIV positive. His father is a drunkard who does not contribute to his family’s wellbeing and yet he physically abuses the wife. Responsibility to look after the family is therefore left for their mother who only gets income on days she is lucky to get work, she digs in other people’s farms which does not pay her enough to look after this big family. Jonan is in primary two and he loves soccer and wants to be an accountant. It would be a great relief if she got some assistance.
